Posted by The Atlantic Real Estate Team on Wednesday, November 11th, 2009 at 2:19pm.The $8,000 first time home buyers tax credit has been extended until April 30, 2010! Great news for everyone. The home needs to be under a binding contract by April 30, 2010 and be closed by June 30, 2010 in order to qualify. This extended credit allows anyone who has not owned a home in the past three years to be eligible for 10% of the purchase price up to $8,000. The income limit has also increased to $125,000 for single taxpayers and $225,000 for married tax payers. More great news!
