First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit
The First-Time Home Buyer tax credit has been extended into the year 2010. It's not too late to take advantage of the new and improved $8,000 First Time Homebuyer Tax Credit! You have until April 30, 2009 to to make the most out of your money.
Already a Home Owner?
Did you know there is now a tax credit for up to $6,500 just for buying a new home? The Move-Up/Repeat Home Buyer Tax Credit allows repeat home owners the chance to receive this credit through June 30, 2010. If you have lived in a home for five consecutive years over the past eight, then you may qualify. The credit is for 10% of the home value up to $6,500. The income limit is $125,000 for single tax payers and $225,000 for married tax payers. You do not have to purchase a home that is more expensive than the one you previously owned. This credit has been established by the Worker, Homeownership, and Business Assistance Act. What a great opportunity to get out and go shopping!!!
